Conan leaves Cimmeria to find adventure

Conan departs his country for a life of adventure. He get captured by one group, rescued and recruited by another. Upon rescuing his new found friend he meets a monk named Ixastophanis who use magic to aid their escape. when the adventure is over the priest forbiddingly tells Conan they will meet again as he makes off with a golden shard
